U.S. Supreme Court Orders Abortion Clinics to Pay for State’s Legal Costs

Little Rock – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge issued a statement following the U.S. Supreme Court’s judgment in Rutledge v. Little Rock Family Planning Services vacating a lower court order blocking Arkansas’s ban on abortions performed solely on the basis of a Down syndrome diagnosis and ordering Little Rock Family Planning Services to pay the State of Arkansas for filing costs associated with seeking Supreme Court review.

Washington Regional Blood Bank Achieves AABB Reaccreditation

Brian McCue, Marketing and Public Relations Fayetteville — Washington Regional Medical Center’s blood bank, a part of the hospital’s laboratory department, recently achieved reaccreditation from the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), which sets standards for blood banks and transfusion services to ensure quality and safety for both donors and patients. Washington Regional completed an on-site inspection and earned AABB reaccreditation for transfusion services.

Abernathy, RRA Joins WR Radiologists

FSD Prepares for New School Year

On Thursday, July 28, the Flippin School Board met to discuss the start of the Flippin School District (FSD) start of the 2022-23 school year. Kelvin Hudson, Tracie Luttrel, Dale Horn, and Gregg Yarbrough were in attendance, along with board members Curt Bryant, Roger Leonard, Stacie Goldsmith, Bryan Benedict and Brent Mitchell.
