J.B. Hunt, Univ. of Ark. Collaboration Focuses on Future of Supply Chain

Lowell – J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc., one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, and the University of Arkansas announced the Sam M. Walton College of Business program for studying supply chain, ranked number one by Gartner, has officially been renamed the J.B. Hunt Transport Department of Supply Chain Management.

Bull Shoals Library Book Of The Week

Carol Short Who is Mark Dobbs, why does he have a poker run in his honor and what is his connection to Bull Shoals Library? Mark was a Navy Captain who retired after 28 years of service and moved to Bull Shoals, a place he and his family had enjoyed for over 30 years. He completed both a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Arkansas State University.

Pack the Fridge at UFAS

Rachel Rodemann Putman, Associate Director for Strategic Communications The college students who will live in UAFS’s Sebastian Commons apartments will have some help keeping the fridge full this year. Thanks to a partnership between The Dave Stevens Lion Pride Pantry, the LionHeart student organization, and Antioch for Youth & Family, students in the apartments will receive deliveries of perishable and nonperishable food.

Olivia Newton – John Passes away at Age 74

Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California on August 8, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. After a long struggle with breast cancer. Newton-John is survived by her husband, John Easterling, and daughter Chloe Rose Lattanzi. Olivia Newton-John was born on September 26, 1948, Cambridge, United Kingdom. She was a British-Australian singer, actress, and activist. She was a four-time Grammy Award winner whose music career included five number one hits and another ten Top Ten.
