Maggie Mason, APRN, Joins WR Palliative Care

Fayetteville, Ark. — Maggie Mason, APRN, recently joined the Washington Regional Palliative Care team where she evaluates and provides care for hospitalized patients with chronic, progressive or complex medical conditions with a focus on improving quality of life. Mason earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University. She has more than three years’ experience as an advanced practice registered nurse and served six years as a registered nurse.

Kari Schrank, APRN, Joins Washington Regional Cardiovascular Clinic

Fayetteville — Kari Schrank, APRN, recently joined the Washington Regional Cardiovascular Clinic, part of the Washington Regional Walker Heart Institute, where she provides comprehensive care for the heart. Schrank holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valparaiso University. She has more than 15 years’ experience as a nurse practitioner.

Reagan Marienga, PA-C, Joins Washington Regional Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Clinic

Fayetteville — Reagan Marienga, PA-C, recently joined the Washington Regional Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Clinic, part of the Washington Regional Walker Heart Institute, where he provides care for patients in the clinic and hospital setting. Marienga earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rust College. He completed a PA residency at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and previously served as a health care sergeant and combat medic in the United States Army.

Smoke alarms save lives

Rogers — Springdale residents can sign up for a free smoke alarm installation from the American Red Cross Northwest Arkansas Chapter and Springdale Fire Department on May 14, 2022. “Our goal is to save lives,” said Julie Brown, Executive Director of American Red Cross of Northwest Arkansas Chapter.
