Rutledge Opposes Biden’s Ministry of Truth

LITTLE ROCK –Attorney General Rutledge joined a multistate letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas opposing the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Governance Board.” The Governance Board is charged with policing ‘thought crimes’ though the censorship of social media, and it represents yet another effort by the Biden administration to violate American’s free speech rights.

Election Laws

Little Rock – Last year the legislature enacted a series of new election laws, and four of them were challenged in court by plaintiffs who argued that they restricted voting rights. In March the four new laws were stricken by a circuit judge after a trial of four days.

Rose Chapman formerly of Yellville

On Thursday April 12, 2022, Rose Leah Merritt Chapman entered Heaven. She was reunited with her father, Ray “Buster” Merritt, her mother, Almeda Merritt Browning and stepfather, Rev. Billie Thomas Daniel, age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, surrounded by family at her home in Flippin, Arkansas. She was born on July 19, 1930, in Memphis, Texas, the sixth daughter of W.O. and Stella Thomas.
