The American Legion Post #61 of Yellville held its monthly meeting April 14, 2022. Meeting was called to order by Commander, Dustin Beals at 18:00 hrs.
Malvern, AR – Arkansas veterans have a champion in U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR). As a senior member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Boozman has delivered improvements to veterans benefits and services and continues to support the needs of Arkansas veterans by helping expand access to urgent care in Malvern.
Everyone that is registered to vote in Marion County should be receiving a new Voter ID Card in the mail. Due to the 2020 census, every county in Arkansas partook in a redistricting process causing changes to some of the voting districts. If you receive an ID Card and your information is correct, there is no need to do anything further. If your information is NOT correct, please contact the Marion County Clerk’s Office by phone 870-449-6226 or in person at 300 E. Old Main in Yellville.
The monthly North Central Arkansas Military Service Sisters Luncheon will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, Good Samaritan is off Highway 5 South. Lunch will start promptly at 12 Noon.

The Bruno fire Protection District is set to host a benefit Pie Auction on May 7 at 2 p.m. Patrons can purchase a pie at 8804 Highway 235 and all proceeds will benefit the Bruno Fire Protection District.

Little Rock – Delena Hicks has been promoted to the position of director of Corporate Compliance for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In her role, Hicks will collaborate with leadership throughout the company to define and implement the company’s compliance strategy.
Little Rock – Anjenette Fenske has been named director of Medicare Advantage compliance for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In her role, Fenske will work closely with the Medicare operations team and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
