Severe Weather Preparedness

Rogers – With severe weather predicted for much of the Missouri and Arkansas region this week, the American Red Cross wants to remind everyone of the importance of preparing your home and family in the event of severe storms, tornados, and floods. The American Red Cross is monitoring the weather in case a response is needed and offers safety steps people should follow.

The Pharmacy at Flippin Station

Lisa is a native of Melbourne, Arkansas and is a 1990, graduate of Melbourne High School. Before attending UAMS College of Pharmacy, she completed pre-pharmacy courses at Williams Baptist College, ASU, and UCA. Following graduation from UAMS in 1996, Lisa worked in a variety of pharmacy practice settings.

BSCC discusses Boat Ramp, Roads and other issues facing the City

Bull Shoals City Council met in regular session March 31st. In a roll call vote Council passed a motion to authorize accepting a bid of $134,925 from Atlas Asphalt to pave the first tier of streets on the list of streets to be paved. Mayor David Nixon said he will be meeting with the company representatives to get prices for paving streets on the second tier of the list. He said he does not know when paving will begin but the city is near the front of the line when asphalt becomes available. Nixon said he thinks paving will be done this summer. There are 16 streets to be paved in the first tier.
